On Christmas I opened my present with my mom and my sister there. I opened the box (it had no wrapping) and I got a Sega Genesis Ultimate portable game player (Sega game player for short). It has 40 Sega games and 40 arcade games like Air hockey, Chess, Black Sheep, and Cannon. The Sega games are things like Sonic the hedgehog, Fatal Labyrinth, Flicky, and Sonic Spinball. I also forgot to mention that if you get an sd card, you can download games onto it from your computer, like Minecraft. I decided to tape a Pokemon card art on it (I put Piplup on my Sega game player) as a decoration. You can also buy accessories at www.atgames.us.

“Ahhhh!!!,” I exclaimed. “How will I ever survive a new school? What will happen? I am going to die.”
“Why, Mom? Why did you do this to me? Was I bad?” It was the last day of summer, and it was the last day of Bradley West. No, I did not know what school I was going to, but hoped it was Peck. The question is which one of all the schools would it be: Peck, Saucedo, St.Gall...Hmm??.. My favorite was Peck. August 25 rolled around and I finally got accepted to Peck. I thought, “Yes! I did it.” I went to register and they gave me my school supplies list for uniform and supplies. Now, it was time to go shopping. Ready set go! I went to the big Walmart bought notebooks, folders, pencils, crayons and lots more. Then we went to the mall to Zemsky and bought shirts and pants and shoes. I had all my school supplies and I was so excited. Then we went to the doctors and I was perfect. I went to the dentist and only had one cavity. The eye doctor was awesome. I didn’t need glasses. It was the first day at Peck School. I met my teacher and new friends. It was the best day of my life, although I was a little nervous. I learned not to be scared. If you are moving to a new place, you’ll be okay! Always believe you can make it! BY: Monserrat Orozco RM 118
One day, a handsome knight named Jacob lost his memory. He was trying to look for a special girl that stole his heart. Jacob traveled and traveled every day to look for that special girl, though he didn’t remember where she lived. Until one day he fell asleep and then woke up by a tree in a farm. He thought to himself, “Maybe this is where my beautiful princess lives, but i’m not sure.” Jacob was wrong. No princess lived there, but, there was a farm girl named Skylar. The knight walked around the whole farm but it looked like nobody was there. Then he heard someone whistling in the house. It was Skylar chopping tomatoes, cilantro, onions and avocados to make guacamole. The vegetables were hand-picked from her own garden. At first she got so scared of Jacob that when he came in, she grabbed a pan and almost hit Jacob. He said, “Wait! Don’t, I’m not going to hurt you.” Skylar responded, “Are you from here?” She continued,, “Because you look lost and oh, my name is Skylar. What is your name?” At first, he was kind of shy telling her that he wasn’t from here, but then he spoke up. “Umm, I’m not actually from here. I come from the land of Elengantacy and my name is Jacob,” he said. Skylar was a little surprised when she heard what he said. She asked him, “Okay, are you hungry…umm, want to eat?¨ He said, “Okay sure.” A couple days later, they hung out together and Jacob told her his story that he was trying to find that girl who stole his heart. Skylar was surprised by what he said. After his story, he told her that he thought Skylar was that girl he was talking about. After some days passed they both liked each other so they were boyfriend and girlfriend. 3 months passed and every time they fell in love even more, little by little... A few weeks later, Jacob went to buy a ring, and went to Skylar and asked, “Would you marry me Skylar?” Then, she exclaimed, “Yes, totally!” They got married and lived happily for their whole life. |
