Go to google.cps.edu and login using the Student's information card. Type the Login where it says "Username" and then the password is "Cps" followed by Student ID number (NOTE: The "C" is capital, but the "ps" is lowercase). When you enter the site, you will land on your email inbox. At the top right corner, click on the small box icon made up of 9 little squares. Then, click on the triangle that says "Drive." Now you are at your Google Drive. Click the "Create" button at the left, and then click on Document. You have now created a new document and you are ready to type your story. No need to save to a flash drive or print out - Google Drive automatically updates and saves for you, so we will be able to access it from any computer.
In order to access your Google Drive account, please follow the directions below:

We had a nice turnout for our Peck School Open House last night. Thanks to all the 5th grade families that made it out to visit teachers and see our classrooms. It was an absolute pleasure to meet everyone. Parent involvement at our school is very important to all of us. Looking forward to a great year ahead!
We had a great first week of school! After discussing trust, organization, and collaboration, we reflected on our past experiences with writing and set new goals for this year. Students learned about how important it will be for them to be leaders and help each other stay organized this year in 5th grade. Students set up their Writer's Notebooks which we will be using daily in class during workshop time. We are ready to dive into the Writing Process next week. Can't wait!
