In digital writing workshop, I like that we get to send our stories and comment on other people's stories. I also like that I get to help some of my friends use the computers. I enjoyed learning to use Google Drive, not just Microsoft Word. - Monse Rm 118
Thanks to our generous donors at DonorsChoose.org, our 5th graders at Peck are now participating in a digital writing workshop! This past week, students learned how to use Google Docs to revise their personal narrative drafts and share their writing with peers. Writers were "conferencing" through the Comments feature, leaving feedback and suggestions for revisions as well. Responsible leaders in each classroom stepped up to help their fellow students with tech issues. I couldn't be more proud of them!
