Thanks to Maria from 116 and our love of the movie Frozen for this week's 100WC prompt:
"... everything she touched turned to ice..." You may change "she" to he, I, or we, if you so desire. As always, read over your response carefully. Brainstorm Monday, 1st Draft skipping lines on loose leaf Tuesday, Revise (using Try Ten or Sentence Exp Wheel) Wednesday, Edit with red pen on Thursday, and turn in all your work and Final Published draft Friday. Think about the last time you got together with a group of friends to share ideas and find solutions. Where were you? Why did you meet? What mysteries did you solve?
This week's prompt is: ... meetings were held across the country to find an answer... As always, please read over your work, revise adding details, and edit for spelling/punctuation mistakes. You can have 110 words this week including the prompt. Good luck and happy writing! I was playing on my ps3 with my dog. I invited Jonathan to play minecraft on ps3. So we both built a house and went mining. We found a lot of diamonds and gold. Then, we found a weird block and we mined it and teleported. I couldn't move but all we could see was water. Jonathan swam up and tried to mine the ice but it wouldn't break. We saw Herobrine and then we died.
Maia and I were feeling a quick movement. I opened my eyes, blurry blue lines were in straight through the grey eye color. "Oh, great I was expecting you by now."
"Where are we?," asked Alexandra. "An Island, Harmonix." answered Maia. She realized they ended up on a island, stranded. "But all we can see is water," Alexandra replied. All of a sudden a water portal appeared. Both girls stepped into it and landed on grey clean sand. Alexandra woke up. "It was just a dream," she repeated to herself. Finally, both girls got off Cloud 9. With this crazy snow and unbearable cold messing up our school schedule, it's been a little while since we have had a 100 Word Challenge. Well, fear not, this week we are back to normal folks.
This week's 100WC prompt is: ... but all we could see was water... Are you on an island in the middle of a tsunami? Or perhaps on a pirate boat during a perfect storm? Be creative and include as many sensory details as possible to make your story come alive for your readers. |
