Who said vocabulary review had to be boring?! This week, 5th grade writers learned how to use Google Drawing to create Word Clouds, while also reviewing their Spelling Words in preparation for their Unit Test. Students used these Word Clouds as a form of self-assessment. They changed color, size and fonts to differentiate between the words they knew and the words they still needed to master. I love how they embraced their creativity and made this project their own! Each student took a unique approach, and they turned out fabulous! Good work writers.

I love the word clouds. They were all great! Maybe you could show me how to do that and I could put one up on my web page. Could we put one on the 5th grade page of the yearbook?
